I suppose that I could say this man started it all.
The first thing of his that I read was Carrie and that was pretty much it, I was hooked. I've read all of his earlier work, but confess that since the Dark Tower series, which I've read none of, I've read no more of his fiction, although I did read his musings on writing. In spite of this later years fall off, I can say without doubt that his efforts I would read, and know that I would get something enjoyable out of - you know how there are just some folks that you're always going to enjoy, no matter what? You trust their output that much? This man is one of those people for me - and nobody writes kids like this master of horror, not even close.
