Today one can not mention vampire without it bringing to mind the current phenomenon of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, both the books and big-screen movies. And lately also bringing to mind the small screen adaptation of Charlaine Harris' tale of southern vampires in True Blood. I have read all of the Meyer's books, as well as the Harris books - I lived in Louisiana, of course I've read them!
Oh, and that near-perfect Lestat on Anne's page? He belongs to this southern bunch ;)
